Harivansh Rai Bachchan has named it Prateeksha as he looks to symbolize stability. Sri Amitabh Bachchan regularly visits to pray at his family temple as it was hand-built by his father. Sri Amitabh Bachchan has preserved his father\u2019s and mother\u2019s room the way it was after they left for the heavenly abode. The meaning of Jalsa is celebration and it has become the most famous residence in Mumbai<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. The residence has a living area of 10,125 sq ft. The house was originally developed under the name of Sri Amitabh\u2019s brother Sri Ajitabh Bachhan, wife Mrs Ramola Bachhan. According to some known sources, it was done for tax-related issues. In 2006 Jalsa was registered under Mrs Jaya Bachhan\u2019s name. first movie shot within the premises of Jalsa where Mr Anurag Kashyap’s short film titled Murbba in Bombay Talkies.
